I am a convert to the Rev Hall dog park. A great mix of owners and dogs and a super convenient inner SE location. The Portland Parks rangers aren't fascistic like the ones who manage Normandale Park.
Revolution Hall, the venue is a great room to see a show, and the booking agents present an eclectic variety of music.
Saw a comedian, Kristin Key.. this is my second time seeing her in person and she did not disappoint, very funny. The facility of revolution Hall is mostly restored used to be an old high school now it's a nice venue. The food service is very slow there it took us over an hour to get one hamburger and one chicken sandwich. When we got our food we were surprised that it didn't come with chips or fries or anything on the side..
If you want a different music experience Revolution Hall is a very chill location to enjoy music and a very Portland environment. A small stage environment providing an intimate experience. Several pubs, including a rooftop bar are fun to visit before and after shows.
